Salama Cirimwali is a singer who is originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo. She left because there was so much insecurity in her country. Life was very difficult because there were constant wars.

She never studied music, rather singing was a gift from God. She first started sining when she still lived in the Congo. Now, when she sings, it helps alleviate stress and gives her a way to glorify God. She sometimes composes songs, but mostly interprets others’ songs. She has performed at church, concerts, and at the Tumaini Festival.

Life in the camp is difficult. They are vulnerable, they have no security, they are limited.
